Small, but very determined, Sophie loves animals and is going to be a farmer when she grows up. In this book she gets a dog that she calls ""Puddle"", makes friends with a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig and has her first ride on a pony!

I thought it was nice when Sophie was riding a horse in this story. If the person who is interested in fiction book's. They are very interesting because it is about a girl who rides a horse. Yes I would recommend someone else reading this book because it is such a nice read.

My favourite character was Sophie because she loved animals so much and because she wanted to be a lady farmer when she was older. My second favourite character was Jo because she came up with what I thought was a good name to call a pig that looked like that. My third favourite characters were Matthew and Mark because they always raced and they always came to the finish line at exactly the same time and they are twins. I would recommend reading this book because it is a lovely book.

Good story with some funny parts in it. Not one of my favourite books, but would recommend it for under 9 year old. Easy to read.

It was sad that Sophie's Dad smoked a pipe. It was very funny when Sophie found out that Dawn was at the beach. I laughed when Puddle barked meaning, 'Come On! Chuck It!'. I would definitely tell my friend this a good book.

Sophie has her first time on a pony. i really enjoyed this book because it was funny, interesting and because Sophie loves animals and so do I.
