The Goffins: Lofty and Eave
Jeanne Willis
George’s grandma is ill, so he and his mum and dad have moved into her house to look after her. George is bored, lonely and resentful towards his family. But then he discovers the Goffins – Lofty and Eave – two creatures who live secretly in grandma’s attic.
Reviews
I thought that it was full of humour, laughter and understanding about things you think are boring but then are interesting. Like when George (or Jowge as Eave says) thought his dad was boring but when he was young, he saved a girl who I think was ice skating and the ice broke under her. Eave is my favourite character. I would definitely recommend this to a friend because it helps you learn to respect and take interest in things.
