I loved this book, it was soooo funny when Sam kept mentioning 'we' and when it came to the prize it was suddenly all 'me'! Wish I'd seen Ely's face then, LOL! Slocum -AKA Mr.Slocum- Is such a, a, a loco man, and a snooty one at that. He better keep his promise and give Sam Hotspots next foal. Okay, the main plot was good, Hammer is stealing mares, Phantom is blamed for it, Sam plans to take a photo of it, nothing goes exactly to plan. A great read from my favorite author, Terri Farley!
