The third thrilling book in the award-winning MORTAL ENGINES quartet.

In a world removed from the huge motorized cities of MORTAL ENGINES, Wren is desperate to escape the static city of Anchorage, and a charming submarine pirate is ready to help her. But when she steals a mysterious object, she ignites a conflict that could tear the world apart. MORTAL ENGINES launched Philip Reeve’s brilliantly-imagined creation, the world of the Traction Era, where mobile cities fight for survival in a post-apocalyptic future. Now, in time for the film debut, the critically acclaimed MORTAL ENGINES quartet is repackaged with a fantastic and eye-catching cover featuring new artwork.

I really like how Wren can easily persuade other people that she has done this or that

I liked this book a lot. I think it would be best to read the books before this though, as it mentioned a lot of things from the first and second. It has a lot of action and adventure. It has a lot of thrills and surprises, like when someone supposedly stupid turns out to be spy who is part of the enemy group.

Exciting thriller with bumps and twists, making you think twice. This book is the third in the Mortal Engines series, which is set in the future after the 60-minute war. I think people aged 11-plus who enjoy Alex Rider would enjoy this book.
