Finn has always been different, and in the tiny fishing village of Stromhead he sticks out like a sore thumb. Always told to keep away from the water, he’s felt that something was missing until one day he dives in and finds that, swimming with the dolphins, he feels completely at home.
But his new friends are in danger of being injured by the rubbish that floats out into the water – and now a supermarket is going to release thousands of balloons that could drift out to sea and cause even more damage. Desperate to help the dolphins, Finn goes to the Lighthouse Crew, a group of kids who have always left Finn out. Will they be able to set aside their differences to save the dolphins? And what will Finn discover about his past along the way?

I like this book but it was sad at a few bits.It was interesting and a good help for teaching kids about how we should protect our planet from harm.i would recommend it

I have read this loads of times and every time it's been even better. I love it. It shows how we can help end sea pollution or at least why to stop using plastic. If you love dolphin you will probably love this book.

I recently met the author of this book and bought this book and I highly enjoyed it! It really raises awareness to stop throwing away plastic as well!

It felt like two stories that have been merged together. The first story when Finn wasn't friends with the Lighthouse Crew and the other when he was. I love how it mentions about the dolphins and how they are being effected. I felt like I was in the book near and at the end. I would recommend it to everyone because it shows the love and care that dolphins - and humans - need.

I thought this book was quite repetitive. I liked it because of 5 children who could change something that grownups could not. It was showing that EVERY VOICE MATTERS and that AGE DOESN’T. My favourite character was Jas, short for Jasmine. I would recommend this book to people who like to read about ACTIVISTS ( FICTION )

I liked this book because of how it showed that young children could make a big change. My favourite character was Jas (Jasmine) because she was kind to her friends and a good problem solver. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes dolphins, and saving the ocean.

It's an amazing book because Finn and his friends help save dolphins from being killed by balloons on the balloon festival after Finn makes friends with them when he finds out his mom was a dolphin person.

My favourite character was Finn because at the start of the book he was a very lonely boy and then he made loads of dolphin friends in the sea and then he finds out that he can swim really well and he can even leap like a dolphin. I would recommend the book to someone else.

I think this book would be suitable for people around the age 8 or 9. I felt that the book was too fast and short for me. The book had around 200 pages but the writing was quite big. The book had little description but it had pictures to make up for it. This book is based on a serious issue that is still happening today; plastic pollution. In the book, the main character describes what happens to the animals and how serious the issue is. The damage that plastic pollution can inflict is hard to believe unless you have seen it with your own eyes. This is portrayed clearly in the book. I would recommend this book to a younger reader who likes books based off real life situations.

I thought it was funny and sad in parts of the book. When the dolphins got tangled up in the balloon string it was like I was there when it happened, it was so sad.

Sad when you think that the dolphins might die but happy when Finn and the lighthouse crew save them. Very adventurous and I would only recommend this book to about 9-11 year olds.

I really liked this book because as well as being about including everyone no matter what, it was also about saving our planet and the oceans! I would definitely recommend this book because its amazing.
