It's fun to read this book as there is a birthday mystery and its so fun because it's about a missing present and the person solving this mystery is the person whose birthday it is. Plus it's also the teacher's birthday.

My favourite character in this book was Dotty because she was intelligent and didn't give up when it was tough to solve. My favourite part in this story was when Dotty's mum surprised her with party because she is such an excellent detective and couldn't even figure out what her party was! I would recommend this book to somebody who likes mystery books.

In this book Mr D’s present goes missing, there’s a boy against girls competition to try and find Mr D’s present. It’s an awesome book

I loved this because it was full of comedy and mystery. My favourite character was Dot because her personality was very funny and warming . The best bit was Mr D dressing up as a mummy for Egyptian day ! Would definitely recommend.
