A strange but clever tale.

It was woven wonderfully and I loved how the camp children were all put in comas for 9 moths and turned into sea mermaids. My favourite character was Sam on behalf of him being determined to find poppy and her sister. It interested me when the palaeontologist was searching for the children and Sam didn’t realise it and when the children were washed upon the beaches

The secret deep is a mysterious book about a girl who's mother has died and her sister and her go to her Aunt's laboratory to stay. It has a couple of rude words but other than that, a thrilling adventure that transports you to another world! I recommend this to 11+.
