It was amazing. She didn’t want to go to sleep and then she fell asleep for 3 days and 3 nights!

A very good book - Mariella is very inventive and has great ideas. She decides to make a flying suit to outrun the darkness so that she could stay awake all the time. It was funny when the speedometer (made from a washing machine) told her how fast she was going and that she was out of fabric softener. Mariella is the main character - she's someone I would want to be friends with. I'd recommend this to my friend.

I like this book but I rated it a 4 becacause the chapters were so short. This book was about a 9 year old girl and she is an engineer and she tries to travel around the world. But whilst she was doing her quest her machine broke but she had no ideas but after that she fell asleep and found ideas and could carry on the quest. I wish the chapters were long.
