I liked this book because it is a lot about animals and I like animals but I knock one star off because I would have liked more pictures.

This book is in a series of five books and is about a girl called Lucy. She has a secret, Lucy has a magical snow globe! She can make wishes and they often come true. Lucy is going to Australia to see family and a small kitten appears in Lucy’s room. The kitten belongs to the farmer next door, Lucy asked a name. But the poor kitten didn’t have one. So Lucy picks on herself: Star. The family go on a walk and Star follows them for a long time before getting lost. Lucy is ready upset and decides to go and find him. So while the other chat Lucy slips on her coat and shoes then on tiptoe, Lucy slips out in to the cold. Soon Lucy gets caught in a snow storm. She needs help from the snow globe, but disaster, Lucy has lost the snow globe! Can Lucy find Star and the snow globe so it can help her home? Or is she stuck in the snow? Only the snow globe can help now… I would certainly recommend this book as it if well thought out, warm and magical. A lovely book.

I liked this story because the little star is very cute and I also liked the snow globe because whenever you shake it you can make a wish and your wish might come true.
