The book is about a boy and his two friends who investigate the strange and disturbing paralyzations at Hogwarts. Harry and Ron find out that Hermione is stunned by the monster and Harry also find out that he can speak to snakes! Harry and Ron try and enter the chamber and were successful. While in there, Harry and Ron are divided into a half by rocks that block Ron's path to Harry. He finds Ginny, who is Ron's sister, cold and still. He sees a man who is young and mysterious he says he is the one who had killed Harry's parents. Harry loses control and finds a large monster who had been the one stunning everybody. It's a long run and everybody who was killed had been restored to full health. I loved Ron best because of his fright of spiders and also because he's so funny! I would recommend it to my friend because he loves wizards and evil wizards .

This was an ok book. But I skipped a bit because there was spiders in the book. But a part from that it was great!

I think it was a bit hilarious when Hermione turned into a cat instead of Millicent Bulstrode. It was really scary when Harry was bitten by the Basilisk and he stabbed Tom Riddle's (aka Voldemort)diary with the Basilisk's tooth and saved Ginny Weasley's life. My favorite character was Ginny Weasley because I think her first year at Hogwarts was instantly ruined by Lucius Malfoy, Draco's father. I would recommend it to someone who can bare a tiny drop of blood.
