The Wild Robot Escapes (The Wild Robot 2)
Peter Brown
The enchanting illustrated sequel to the #1 New York Times bestselling THE WILD ROBOT, by award-winning author-illustrator Peter Brown
Roz is no ordinary robot. After being washed up on the shore of a remote and wild island, she learned to adapt and make it her home, befriend its animal inhabitants and even adopt a small orphaned gosling, Brightbill.
But a new life is now beginning for Roz – she has been taken away, far away from her island, back to civilisation. Where she must pretend that she is a robot like any other – there to follow orders and to carry out tasks on the farm where she now works.
She knows she must never let anyone find out who she really is. And more than anything, she must find a way to escape, back to the island and her beloved Brightbill – a journey that will be fraught with danger and drama, and some very unexpected surprises …

Reviews
I would add 50,000,000 stars to this book. It was even better than the first because it was more adventurous and it was a pinch less sad! The illustrations are great and all the characters are cute. There are loads of pigeons!

This was really good. Wild Robot adopts a baby gosling. They get in danger ,and they have to escape from Hilltop Farm to get back to their island.

My favourite character was Brightbill because he was very cute and very protective of his mum, Roz. I would recommend it to someone else, but you would have to read the first one first, as this is the second one. It is definately an adventure book so if you like that, you shoudl read it.

It was really good, because the Wild robot story continues on and shows where it landed after the aero plane landing…

I liked it because it seemed to be in a different timeline. My favourite character was the geese.

In my opinion, this was a great book. I liked what happened in Chapters 83 to 84 (it makes more sense if you read Chapters 78 to 82 before). I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in robots, animals and/or adventure.

This book is about a robot on an island. Just kidding, we’re not doing a short review. This robot was on an island that I’m not going into further detail on - go and watch the movie. So, she’s now in a truck, going to Hilltop Farm. A farm with a man and two kids; their mother died. They needed a robot to do the farm work. The robot couldn’t tell any of them about her life on the island, or else she’ll be sent back to the factory to be destroyed. This book has action, emotional scenes, violence and is heartwarming at the same time. PS- The robot’s name is Roz.
