This book ends on a cliffhanger, which is meant to lead on to the next book of the series and has an short extract to give you a taster of whats to come. The book is suitable for confident readers like me. The text is larger print, so chapters are relatively quick to read through, the story is exciting and full of action, so you want to keep reading.

I think that the book was amazing but I wished they could have shown more of the fight between Danny, Ruby and Bortus. The person I like the best is Bortus because of his abilities. Yes, I would recommend this .

Jack Ruby and Danny had really cool weapons. A sheild, sword, and laser gun thing They were battling a huge guy who had taken Ruby's mum and was trying to get her back.

I like this book because it contains three heroes who have weapons and fight evil beasts. Jack has super strength, a sword (Blaze) and scaly glowing hands. Ruby is a girl with a mirror shield which can deflect anything that hits her and fire beams. Danny he can make sonic blasts with his throat, bat ears andand an energy crossbow.
