Anne Fine makes a return to Weird Street with this twisty collection of sharp, unnerving tales, perfect for younger spooky fiction readers.

Asim, Laila and Tom like nothing more than spooking each other out with tales of the unexpected. This summer they’re back with three more stories to chill you to the bone. Can your dreams really grant you fortunes and riches? What lurks in the shadows of Number 17? And is Grandma’s house really haunted, or is it all just a fun imaginary game? Get ready to head back to Weir(d) Street. It’s time for more tales of terror and woe… Particularly suitable for readers aged 9+ with a reading age of 8.

It's quite a short book but I enjoyed it. My favorite tale in the book it the second because it seems mildly truthful. I would recommend it to someone who wants to get into horror books as it's meant to be scary but it's just a little bit creepy!

I found this book Absolutely amazing, I liked all the different kinds of spooky stories that were in this book . I have 2 favourites tale2 and tale3. Tale2 has a lot of mystery, and riddles, a family moves into 17 weir street. Tale3 has a bit of mystery in it but it all started with 3 children finding a boy that’s supposed to be dead. I definitely would recommend it.

Scary, interesting, fascinating. It’s about 3 kids who share scary stories. I would say that Asim’s was the spookiest of them all. I would recommend for ages 8+ because I don’t think little kids will sleep.
