Pony on the Twelfth Floor
Polly Faber, Sarah Jennings
A hilarious and charming story of a girl, a high rise, and one very inappropriate pet, from the author of the Mango & Bambang series.
Kizzy thought she had dreamed of every possible way she might get a pony. She’d never expected to pick one up from the supermarket. But wherever the plump pony munching on flapjacks in the bakery aisle has come from, Kizzy knows he’s everything she’s ever wished for: a loyal companion and her ticket to showjumping gold at Olympia. There’s just one small problem: how do you keep a pony on the twelfth floor of a high rise without your mum finding out? From Polly Faber, author of the Mango & Bambang series, comes a heartwarming and beautifully illustrated tale about following your dreams – no matter how far-fetched they seem.

It's really good because it's funny - they've found the pony at the supermarket.

This was a great book the main character was called Kizzy she found a horse in the supermarket she took the horse and named him Flapjack she was determined to do a rising trot. When she finally did it she was so happy. Her friend Pawel told her she should take Flapjack to the council but Kizzy did not.Pawel's little sisters Ali and Lopa put glitter and stickers on Flapjack. At the end of the book Kizzy took Flapjack to a farm so Kizzy basically worked with her pony.

I like this book because Kizzy the girl in the story’s pony LOVES food and will do almost anything for it ! It is not easy hiding a pony on a twelfth floor flat when pets aren’t allowed though! Kizzy’s best friend Paul helps her out but … Get ready for some funny foody chaotic fun!

I really like this book because it's really funny, and it talks about how sometimes you really want something, you never know where it might appear [ a supermarket aisle]. My favourite character is Kizzy, because she never gives up, and when she has rare moments where she felt like she failed, she gets back up to carry on. I would definitely recommend this fabulous book to anybody.
