Christmas is coming, and what Leo wants more than anything in the world is a pet hamster. And guess what? He gets one on Christmas morning! Leo names his new pet Hampstead, after an autocorrect mistake on his wishlist. Everything is great, that is, until Leo realises that Hampstead is down in the dumps. What can Leo do to cheer Hampstead up?

It was a good book. My favorite character was the hamster .The book shows how animals are smart and are capable of many things .I would recommend this book to someone who is thinking about getting a hamster they are smart and could be helpful the book can also be a useful guide

A boy who wanted a hamster, text father Christmas, but it auto corrected as Hampstead, a place in London, so when he got a hamster for Christmas, he named it Hampstead.

A good story with some sad and some funny bits. I liked that it mentioned lots of different characters from other books and some jokes too.

My favourite character is Leo because he named his hamster Hampstead and Hampstead is a made up name and I am impressed that he made up a name from a spellcheck. My favourite part is when they made the wheel for the hamster. Yes I would recommend this book to my friends.

It was about a hamster who wanted a Christmas present. Leo and his dad gave it a wheel. So the hamster became happy. I enjoyed this book very much.

This was a story about a boy called Leo, who asked for a hamster for christmas. Father Christmas gave him a hamster but he didn't seem to be very happy until they gave him a wheel. i thought that Hampstead was going to be sad for his whole life. The bit i liked best was when Hampstead became happy and was running on his wheel for ages. I would recommend this book to someone because it's a really good book and i think a lot of my friends would it.
