I liked that it had a magical ice garden. I felt sad when Jess wasn't always able to do what she wanted to. I would recommend the book to girls about 9 years old.

The Ice Garden is an excellent story! It’s about a girl called Jessica who is allergic to the sun. Every day when she goes outside she has to wear a mask, scarf and gloves basically she has to wear anything that protects her from the sun even if it’s the middle of summer! She has lots of appointments at the Doctor’s surgery to try and fix her skin and Jess hates it. One day she sneaks out and finds herself in a impossibility a garden made of ice. I recommend this book to anyone who loves magic, adventures, friendship, mystery and stories. I give it 5***** . I love this book so so much !

This was fiction and the main characters were Jess and Owen. Jess is allergic to the sun so she can't go out when the sun's out. Only unless she has gloves and a hood.

This book is about this girl called Jess who's allergic to the sun. She stays indoors which she described as a world of shadows.One night she snuck out the house when everyone was asleep and she went to the playground she always wanted to go to when she discovered and enchanted world full of ice.
