Morrigan Crow’s adventures in the magical world of Nevermoor continue . . . a treat for all fans of magic and ‘wunder’. A stunningly designed package – with silver foil, hidden artwork under the jacket and beautifully designed interiors.

‘An extraordinary story full of magics great and small’ Kiran Millwood Hargrave, author of THE GIRL OF INK AND STARS

Imagination, discovery and friendship await Morrigan Crow when she escapes her deadly curse and joins the Wundrous Society. It promises her protection and belonging for life – but then Morrigan doesn’t receive the welcome she hoped for…

Morrigan is a much-feared Wundersmith. So, instead of the Society helping Morrigan to embrace her power, she is only taught that all Wundersmiths are evil and she must suppress her mysterious ability at all costs.

To make things worse, Nevermoor is quickly turning from a place of safety into one of danger. Society members are going missing, someone is blackmailing Morrigan’s new friends, turning them against her. And Ezra Squall, the evillest man who ever lived, is determined to lure Morrigan from the Society by promising to reveal the true nature of the Wunder that calls to her, which is becoming ever harder to resist…

Has Morrigan’s dream of escaping her cursed life ended before it truly began?

Perfect for fans of the Harry Potter series and His Dark Materials, this series takes readers into an extraordinary world, setting hope and imagination alive.

I liked it because I liked that you learned that she actually is not cursed, shes just a Wundersmith and I enjoyed the funny bits where Hawthorn's parents complained about the dragon tournament names being descriptions not actual names.

Great book. Extends the ideas of the first book in the series. I would recommend this book for 10-11 year olds.

This series is so good I have read this 2 times now and it is still amazing. One of my favourite series I love how they learn about the triksy lanes and then they actually end up finding the ghastly marketI also think the trial where the elders black mailed unit 919 was very clever it proved that they all trusted each other.

A book full of evil magic and chaos. A fiction book, my favourite character in the 2nd nevermoor book has to be Professor Onstald. I would recommend this book to people who like adventure, madness and confusion all in one book.

This book carries on the previous book's high standards. It has everything that you could possibly want, magic, adventure, emotions, friendships, promises, and, most importantly, breaking the rules!

It’s a brilliant book. If you read it, you will instantly love the characters. These are three of the personalities that belong to certain people in it: Fun and cheeky, teasing and happy, serious and cold plus many more. I strongly recommend it to people who have a strong love of reading and people who like magic, adventure and mystery.
