I didn't like this one to start with. But then I liked it. The dog is called Winston. It's about a girl who really wants to take them home and so does someone in her school. On her birthday she got taken to the animal shelter and took Winston home.

It was a very good book, still cute, but it wasn’t as good as some of the other books by this author because it just didn’t have that much adventure in it. My favourite character was the shelter puppy. I would recommend it, though.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Because there was this girl that was so desperate to get this puppy but then she wasn’t allowed. Then at the end her parents, brother and friend made her a big surprise on her birthday, she got the puppy she really wanted. So I really liked this book.
