This book is about eddy spending the summer holidays at his Grans old bungalow, which I enjoyed reading about what he got up to. The pirate and the codcake crew helps eddy during their adventures to repair the bungalow. They needed to find the Treasure map so eddy suggested they go to the nearest pound shop and they found at the pound shop a treasure chest which contained the map inside. They needed to set sail across the sea, but they found no boat except a rowing boat which didn’t fit the whole crew in. They found a shop in the shape of a pirate ship but they thought it was a pirate ship and could not get it to move, but eventually somehow their was a big splash and the shop was in the water floating in the sea. To get to the treasure they had to avoid barracuda bill and his pirate Scavenger crew. But one day they bumped into Barracuda Bill and the scavenger crew who all pulled down their trousers and showed their bare bums to eddy and the codcake crew. There where 199 bare bottom cheeks, the odd bum out belonged to a pirate called Frankie half trousers who had lost one of this bum cheeks in a sword fight years again.

I liked it but some of it was boring. My favourite character was the Penguin.
