Mr Tickle, the first of the Mr Men, was born. Mr Tickle was soon joined by Mr Greedy, Mr Happy, Mr Nosey, Mr Sneeze and Mr Bump. The books were an instant hit and Roger went on to create many more Mr Men and Little Miss characters. What Roger really wanted was to make children laugh, which is probably why his own favourite character is Mr Silly.

This book was too good. I love all the Mr Men stories. I love superheroes. My favourite part of the book was the pages with Mr Greedy and Mr Lazy.

I liked it when Mr Strong was saving people but one time he saw Mr Impossible climbing up a wall and getting changed in a telephone box and saving the world. So Mr Strong wanted Mr Impossible to be his sidekick. But then he thought Mr Impossible was better than him and he felt like the sidekick in the end. It was funny when Mr Rude farted.

I did not like it when they crashed the car. I did not really enjoy the book because all the superheroes did everything wrong. I would not recommend it.
