This is a book where David rain tries to reverse the doings of Gwillana, who has managed to unlock the ways to time travel due to the unicorn blood in her. However, a highly illuminated boy,fain,dragon called Joseph Henry is stopping him, as he knows that this will make the ix control this sector of the universe. It all ends in a stalemate between the three and they get transported in time to where the ix are inverting all species on earth. Luckily, David's child Alexa destroys the ix with help from polar bears that can imagineer and the guardians of quantum, who reshape time to a timepoint that does not involve the universe destroying war between both thought forms, the ix and fain.
