This is book is in a series of fifteen (+ 2 from Pamela Butchart) books about 7 children, the secret seven, they club together to solve mysteries together and are very good at it. This time the seven children: Barbra, Janet, Pam, Jack, Colin, George and Peter the leader as well as Janet and Peter’s dog Scamper. My favourite character was Janet as she was cram, kind and helpful. This time there is a DOG THEIF IN TOWN!!!! But Peter isn’t bothered. When he lets Scamper out of the shed in am eating he GETS STOLEN!!!! Can The secret SIX (Peter and Jack fell out) find out where Scamper or will Jack get there first? Or is Scamper gone forever… I would certainly recommend this book as it is well thought out, fun and a hard mystery. A good book.

I thought this was a really interesting book. Especially, The way how there is genius ideas are so smart for the book. The person I liked the best was Jack. Even though he decided not to be apart of the Secret Seven he still help the save their dog. I would recommend this book to everyone who love mystery books.

It was good but a little bit sad~ I enjoyed the middle part the most because it was the most exciting part of all. I liked Barbara best. I would recommend it to someone else.
