I loved this book because it showed the horrors of slavery and how it can kill you. It was also full of kindness and friendship. My favourite character was Erak because despite being a Scandian, he freed Will and Evanlyn from slavery. I would recommend it to anyone to remind them that amongst bad people, there are some kind people too.

My favourite character from the series (Will) wasn't a big character in the final part of this book so I didn't enjoy it as much as the first two.

This is a great series and the 3rd book. This is the best one of the series so far and is full of excitement and adventures plus an astonishing 7 new characters. Great read.
