Kat Wolfe Investigates was a thrilling book that kept me on the edge of my seat! I felt exactly how Kat felt during her investigation: frustrated, excited, confused. It's about a girl (Kat) who lives with her mum who is a vet. Kat adores animals, but isn't able to have a pet of her own, because the flat that she lives in won't allow it. When her mum looks for a new job in the beautiful Jurassic Coast, she is thrilled when they get there. She even has her own pet wildcat! But when things start getting mysterious, Kat sets up a detective agency, Lamb and Wolfe Inc., with her new friend Harper. My favourite character is Kat, because she is just like me; she loves animals and solving mysteries. I would recommend this book to people who love animals, solving mysteries and the seaside. i would rate this book 4 and a half stars!

Lauren St John is a very good author and this book shows that. Kat (the main character) has just moved to the Jurassic Coast. She is a vet's daughter and she loves animals. She makes a friend, Harper, and they solve a mystery together.

With sleeper spies, wild animals, wheelchair explorers, this book is a fantastic read for anyone who enjoys a mystery. I was hooked from page one to the last word. I loved this book and I think it is the best book I have ever read!

I thought Kat Wolfe Investigates was a very good book indeed. I found it had to put the book down at times. It's a story about Kat Wolfe and her friend Harper Lamb. Kat moves to Bluebell Bay, in Dorset. There her mother, Dr Ellen Wolfe, is in charge of the animal clinic and Kat wants to buy a laptop so she decided to earn pocket money by being a pet-sitter. When she pet-sits Harper's horse while Harper is ill, she tries to get along with the cat that comes with her new house, Tiny. Tiny is a giant Savannah F1, a big leopard like cat. At first Tiny seems to dislike Kat alot but bit by bit he starts to get used to her presence. So Kat, Harper and Tiny go on a big adventure... I would recommend this book to animal lovers and people who like mysteries.
