The Wild Folk
Sylvia Linsteadt
In the land of Farallone, City boy Tin and Country girl Comfrey are guided on a quest by two young hares.
Their task is to save the mystical Wild Folk from destruction. But the Wild Folk don’t trust humans, and the children face impossible challenges and meet extraordinary creatures as they battle to save the land they love.
A timeless and magical fantasy adventure.

A good book for year 5. My favourite character is the first bobcat even though she only makes an appearance near the end.

It was good. It was a bit boring but it was still fun to read.

I loved that both of the children had very peculiar oddnesses and they each had a different purpose.

I liked it because even though they had never seen each other before, they helped each other to save the island.

This is one of <THE BEST> books ever written. The Wild Folk is a beautifully written timeless story based in another universe, the land of Farallone. Two orphaned Leverets (young hares), Myrtle and Mallow, have been sent by the "Greentwins" to find Country girl Comfrey and City boy Tin, to bring them on a quest to save the suffering Farallone from destruction. This book really brings up environmental awareness, and my favourite character is Myrtle, because she is hilarious, brave and sometimes sarcastic. I'd recommend this book for 10+ year olds with a taste for adventure.

This book was okay some of the chapters to me were a bit irellavent but then again they were holding up the story.i think Tin is a character that is completely relatable to in his feelings but the author made me dislike Comfrey as she was so rude quick and snappy even when people were kind to her! I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves animals and adventures ! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

The Wild Folk is the first book in The Stargold Chronicles and it is extremely amazing. Packed with tonnes of different elements, this book is both exciting and upsetting at the same time! I love this book and have read The Wild Folk Rising as well. This book is for everyone.

My favourite bit was when Tin sneaked into the barn of witches and gave them a sleep potion.

I only read the first few pages on this book and I did not get the story so well. I did not know where the characters were coming from and what they are.
