On a visit to the US things take a strange turn for 12-year-old Ajay when, completely at random and totally by accident, he is sworn in as the new president. Well, I guess he can't be any worse than that guy who had the job before him, right? Wrong. It's quite easy for power to go to your head and Ajay, overwhelmed by it all, goes rogue. Soon he's too busy ordering sparkly capes and enforcing the new national spider plan to spot the dastardly plot unfolding right under his nose.

At first I didn't want to read it but when I started reading it became interesting!!! I would recommend this book to others because it is interesting!

I liked the Accidental president because I learnt that people don't really know what they want and they think money can buy happiness like Hank Jones. I also learnt we need to care for our environment or we might lose it forever.

I think this book is particularly a good one, A boy called Ajay decides to go to America to make friends and decides it with his best friend Joe, the Prime Minister. However, when Joe and Jenkins tell him not to make a hullabaloo, it seems like he will not. It all changes when he comes to America and when he meets Sophie and drives her crazy at first until he ends up finding himself as President of the US and tries to do his bit to fit in as President. Along the way, he meets General Winters, Alan the Chef, his rival Hank Jones etc. I liked the vibe of this book, it had a lot of unusual things in it that no one thought would actually happen. Although, I did not really feel a lot in this book which is why I rate it 3/5. My favourite character must be Ajay though as for most of the book, he plays a part in his comedian self and I would recommend to people who like to laugh.

I thought this book was awesome. I loved how funny Ajay is. No wonder the Americans loved him! Hank Jones was totally evil though, trying to make his son just like him. However, Ajay was super smart, intelligent and all to think up of that plan about making England totally different. Rain. Sun. Rain. Sun. Rain. Sun. Rain. SCREAM (by Hank Jones). That was a funny, lucky guess. My faviroite character is definietly Ajay for his intelligence, smartness and, of course, his amazing sense of humour. He must have really loved England, Joe, his family and everything to give up his position as president although the Americans loved him. He was also super amazing to think up of the dunking buisiness. I reccomend this book to everyone as it is hilarious but at the same time super interesting.

I love this book because its very interesting and how a kid named Ajay sort of actually became a Kid Presidents.I wish i could read other books made by Tom McLaughlin such as The accidental president.My favourite character in this amazing book is Hank because he always gets angry easily in 20 seconds.It interested me because it has a lot of details about the characters and how they are feeling.YES i would 100% recommend this book!!!

This was just like the accident Prime Minister except a different person becomes president.It is actually the PM's BFF!!!A very grumpy man wants to buy the UK and turn it into one great big coffee shop.The Queen, The Prime Minister and the President of the USA put a stop to that.They make up all sorts of rules like important people go in teeny-tiny cars and they have to shake all of the butlers hands each day.It was very funny and would recommend it.
