I liked that it all started with a colouring book not a portal or a secret door and how the colouring pencils have its own way of telling the tale. Also I liked that it features birds and every single movement and sound of them.

I thought this was a very magical and enchanting book. My favourite character is Patch the magpie because he is funny! I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in birds.

It was a fiction book ,you can tell it's a fiction book as there are fairy's and talking birds . I liked Honeysuckle the best as she had a spell on her as the naughty king was angry with her . It interested me as it told you some bird fact's . I would definitely recommend this book for someone else.

Fiction book The Kingdom is in trouble and Evil Lord Astor plans to capture all the creatures. Maya is a girl that dreams her way to this land as she received a special coloring book that transports her to this kingdom. Not really a fan of this book because I found it slow.

This book is in a series of six about a girl called Maya. She has a special book and pencils to go with it. A picture appears in the book every time there is a problem in the magical kingdom of birds. When Maya colours the picture in she is winced off to the kingdom of birds this time to help as the small, helpful and kind humming birds. My favourite character was the fairy that looked after the hummingbirds, as she was kind, loyal and was always ready to help. Maya must help her friends, Princess Willow and patch, the magpie to defeat Willow’s wicked uncle Lord Asta to help the hummingbirds. Can Maya manage? I would certainly recommend this book as it is well thought out and fun. A lovely book and a magical idea.

This is a great book for children who love magic and animals. I think girls might enjoy it more than boys because the main character is a girl - she is called Princess Willow. I like that this book is one of a series because I can find out more about Willow and this magical world.
