The Time-Travelling Cat and the Aztec Sacrifice
Julia Jarman
Topher is desperate to find his beloved cat Ka when she disappears, leaving a single clue on his computer:
TENOCHT*I*TLaN.
When Topher follows Ka back in time, finds himself in the dangerous world of the Aztecs. The people of the wondrous, floating city of Tenochtitlan believe Ka is one of their gods, but El Sol, a piratical Spanish conquistador, thinks she is a witch.
Can Topher save Ka from El Sol, rescue Pima, a girl the Aztecs want to sacrifice, and escape from Tenochtitlan before it is destroyed?

I loved this book! It was so full of adventure, I think that children aged 7+ will absolutely adore this book

It was good because I liked how it teaches people about issues like racism. It was fictional but had a few facts about the aztecs being taken over by the Spanish. I would recommend it to people who like historical fiction.

Again my favourite character was Ka. I really learned a lot about the Aztecs and would love to also learn more. I really recommend this book to someone who likes reading about the past but also loves cats.

I would recommend this book to others who like mysterious, nail-biting time travel books. My favourite character is Topher, *Ka's* owner. PS: *That's the time travelling cat's name* My thoughts about this book is that it can be a bit gruesome, nail biting as I said earlier and some cunning and fearless characters.
