Reviews
The story wasn’t long enough. The plot happened too quickly.

I only give this book a 2 because there wasn't much action. I much preferred Jane Pinny. I did learn a few things about Tudor life though.

Thomas Snoop was my favourite character because he is always sneaky and quiet. The book is very dramatic and one of the best books I have read. I would recommend it to my friends.

Scary! Many mysteries to be solved. A little complicated at times (many names) but generally quite easy to read.

I thought it was interesting because it told you about some of the things that may have happened in the Tudor times. It gave you an idea of how they lived and what was happening at the time. The story was about a secret diary of Thomas Snoop, a Tudor boy spy. He had to find out who was plotting to bring Catholicism back into England, but he had to stop it. I would recommend it to children who are 7-11 who like a good historical spy novel.

I enjoyed this book. It is another book in the National Trust series of historical fiction books for kids. It was about a servant boy called Thomas Snoop who is trained to be a spy by Lord Serven. He is invited to a mansion called Goldenhilt Hall to see if anybody is Spanish and plotting to overthrow the English King. In the book Thomas discovers that Lady Anna who came to the party is not the real Lady Anna. He also finds a man with a dagger in his stomach (and possibly the biggest (and fattest) man in the world). I would recommend this book to everybody who likes adventure books.
