When evil pirate Stinkbeard tries to kidnap Lil’s teacher, it’s up to schoolgirl and secret pirate, Lil, to come to the rescue. In story two it’s sports day, but there’s a very hungry croc on the loose. Can Lil and her trusty parrot, Carrot, scare Stinkbeard and his pet croc away?
On a trip to the museum, evil pirate Stinkbeard tries to steal an old king’s ruby ring, and it’s up to schoolgirl and secret pirate, Lil, to stop him! In story two, Lil and her pet parrot are off to a birthday party. But when Stinkbeard and his pet croc turn up, it’s up to Lil to save the day.

Lol had a parrot.when she's in class she sends Carrot her parrot to tell her the next mission. I liked Carrot the most because she talks when she's not meant to and it makes me laugh lots. I would recommend the book to my best friends at school because they enjoy adventure stories.

I liked the parrot the best. I liked lil the pirate too.It was a very cool story even though I gave it 3/5 I still enjoyed it. It intrested me because I like being adventurues.

May favourite part was at the start when Lil was Day dreaming in class and she was dreaming about her becoming a pirate.

I like this book because lil goes on lots of adventures and I like adventures I would recommend this book to all readers.

This is a nice book for young readers. It's in verse, which is fun, but it only took me around an hour to read. I love the illustrations! I would recommend this book for young readers aged 6-9.
