The Frozen Telescope is the last book in the Uncommoners trilogy. Ivy, Seb and Valian are searching for Valian’s sister, Rosie. Rosie is wearing the ‘sands of change’ necklace which attracts evil. So it is race against time to find Rosie before the Dirge discover her. I really liked this book because it is fast paced, gripping and exciting. The last battle is very dramatic because if the friends lose against the Dirge it means that the whole world will be over taken by the Dirge. My favourite character in this book is Scratch, this is an uncommon object but it can talk. I really liked him because he helped and guided everyone as he knew a lot about the uncommon world. I would recommend this trilogy to children who enjoy the fantasy genre.

My favourite character in the book was Judy as she was a phantom and then got changed back to a human. I really liked this book and my favourite part was when Scratch got changed into a boy. I would really recommend this book to anyone who likes weird things and strange happenings!

It is not as good as the others (A.K.A The crooked sixpence and The smoking hourglass). I would recommend it to 8-14. Ivy and Seb sparrow help their friend Valian find his long lost sister but they are not the only ones trying to find her.Through the series of books they have to escape an evil club called The Dirge, they suspect their babysitter is a member!

This book was amazing to read because it had a great plot. In the story, there is a boy called Valian who spent 10 years looking for his missing sister. He finally finds her with the help of his best friends, called Seb and Ivy. At the end of the book, there is a happy reunion where Valian and Rosie, his sister, celebrate Rosie's birthday
