The Rescued Kitten

When Edie discovers a tiny kitten caught up in barbed wire on the way home from school, she rushes her home to her mum, who’s a vet. Even though Edie’s mum isn’t sure Barbie the kitten is going to make it, Edie is determined to nurse her back to health and find out what has happened to the rest of the kittens. What if they’re in danger too?

I liked Barbie because she is so cute and cuddly. I think she should have been called Goldie though because I think it is a better name and she is golden and a little bit white. There are also 2 girls who live next door to each other. They are called Edie and Tayla. I like Edie just a little bit more than Tayla because she is the one who heard the kitten first. Edie`s mummy and daddy are vets so they look after Barbie with Edie. Tayla still gets to see Barbie because she lives next door. She had rescued the other cats in the family and even got to have 1 of her own!!Sadly the mother cat was put back where they found her because she would never grow gentle enough to be a pet cat.All of her kittens got safe homes(phew!!)and kind owners(brilliant owners!!)Tayler & Edie looked after there kittens very well.

I liked this book because the two little girls find a cat in the bushes and it was hurt so they got off the bob wire and took the kitten home so her mum and dad could help the kitten get better because they are vets so they can help the kitten cut on her back get better.

I rated it a 5 because the story was very nice and the kitten was very cute. My favourite character is the kitten because I love her name. I would 100% recommend this to a friend!

I give this book 4 stars because of how random it was that you have scissors in your pencilcase and how they cut the barbed wire with the scissors to help the kitten escape.

I thought I’d give this book a five because I liked the story - it started off as a normal day at school then suddenly they found a kitten and rescued it. My favourite character was Eddie because he looked after the kitten the most. I would recommend this book to my friends, especially those who like kittens.
