It taught me how black people struggled alot due to the colour of their skin but still managed to make themselves thrive.❤

Great book. This book is an amazing and inspiring and heart felt book about a few of the bold and courage black women in history. It includes lots of people who some of may have heard of such as Oprah Winfrey. It talked out the life of the women and what lead up to their achievements in time. Also what they achieved. After some of them I thought to myself that if I work hard and put my mind to things I can achieve anything. I would recommend this book to all no matter how old you are it doesn't matter as this is an expiration to all.
