Good jungle adventure

I'd say this book is pretty good, it starts as a boring rainy day, their Mum was working, their Dad had dozed off and their cat didn't want to play, So they imagined they were on a Adventure to the Jungle they pretended their dad was a baboon that chased them all the way to the River but the baboon didn't know how to cross the river, then they came across a bird but, they scared it away, after that they crossed a really wobbly bridge, finally they came across a Tiger, who was sleeping, until Barney poked it in the Bum then the Tiger woke up and chased them away.

My favourite character was the baby because he was cute. The baby was playing with his sister and they pretended they were going to the jungle. My favourite part was when they put bows in daddy's hair and pretended he was a monkey.

This is a nice book about imagination. I liked it when they imagined that their cat is a tiger, mum is a bird and dad is a hairy baboon. I like the really bright pictures and how it rhymes. I also like the cute little baby, Barney.
