Calling all Dirty Bertie fans! Dirty Bertie – the boy with nose-pickingly disgusting habits – is back for another helping of comic chaos! With ever-increasing madcap schemes and crazy capers, Bertie continues to delight his legions of fans, who revel in his revolting ways.

Join Bertie in MASCOT!, his 30th adventure, as he is picked to be the mascot for Pudsley Rovers, attempts to get himself expelled from a geeky summer camp and designs his very own robot, a Bootosaurus, to replace Miss Boot!

DIRTY BERTIE is a hugely popular series created and illustrated by award-winning illustrator, David Roberts (TYRANNOSAURUS DRIP, THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS, THE TROLL, THE EDDIE DICKENS TRILOGY) and written by award-winning author, Alan MacDonald (ASK OSCAR, THE PRINCE OF PANTS, SUPERHERO SCHOOL). With each hilarious story approximately thirty pages long and split into chapters with illustrations on nearly every spread, DIRTY BERTIE is ideal for confident readers to enjoy by themselves, or for sharing with your child.

I like Bertie the most because he scored a goal when the football hit him in the head and it was very funny. I would recommend this book to someone that would read this book.

Dirty Bertie is always funny. In this book, he reads the news of a football team that every month has a player disguised as a lion. So Dirty Bertie wants to wear the costume but it is too big.

I liked this because Bertie wanted to be a lion for his football team. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes football or Dirty Bertie stories.

This was a little too much for me to read all of it, but what I did read, I enjoyed.

I liked this book because when he was Larry Lion, and when he was playing, he kept playing wrong. I also liked the part when he wasn't concentrating on the ball and the ball hit him on the head and went into the goal unexpectedly and when the person with the flag at the corner kick kept telling him off.
