Max the Detective Cat: The Disappearing Diva

Max is the dream cat! I was horrified when poor Max was thrown out into the cold and even more annoyed at the sight of Countess Arlington with a cat that she named Maximillian. It shows how strong and brave Max is, even after being abandoned by his previous owner and that is why I rate this book 5/5. The plot was fantastic and the black cat was my favourite character because he was casual and thoughtful. I also liked him because he is a great friend for teaching Max how to get across a rooftop without falling off! I would recommend this book for 8+ and I hope everyone else that reads it will enjoy it as much as I did!

This book is amazing because Maximilian (Max) managed to keep his courage within him, even after his first owner did something terrible to him. It also teaches you about the true meaning of family. But the main point of this book is a mystery, and, although I prefer books with more sleuthing in it, I have to admit it was pretty good.

It was so good! I REALLY like mystery books. Out of all of the characters I liked the real Madame Emerald because she is really kind and the fake Madame Emerald and her maid Jeanette was not kind at all. I would recommend it to someone else because I think they will really like it.

When Maximilian saw Countless Arlington with another cat I was speechless. The Countess was calling that cat by Maximilian.I really like how the cat could explain what he was trying to say in miows. I liked Madame Emerald the best in the book because you cannot tell what she is doing in the first place which can make you curious.

This book is all about being focused. You have to be ready to read because if you started reading you have to carry on. It's a non-stopping book. My favorite person was Madame Emerald and my favorite cat was Oscar. I like Madame Emerald because she has a really high voice that can shatter a cup of wine and I like Oscar because he taught Max (or Maximilian) how to jump high and land safely.

The story is about a cat called Maximillion. Maxes original owner decided she no longer wanted him and asked are made to drown him by the river. But Max escapes from the cat basket. He meets Oscar and ends up working in the theatre Royal as a mouser. Max foils the plan of a thief impersonating madame Emerald And save the Queens jewels.

I thought it was a good book because it was about a mystery and it had my favourite animal in it, a cat. It kept me guessing till the end who was being Madam Emerald. My favourite characters were Max and Oscar because they worked together to solve the mystery. I would recommend this book to my friends.
