Hi, Have you ever read any of Stacy Gregg's books? If you haven't you should. One of my favorites is The Girl Who Rode the Wind. It is about a 12 year old girl called Lola who is desperate to become a jockey. When her grandmother takes her to Italy for the summer, it seems like those dreams are coming true. The ultimate street race awaits her! But as Lola learns more about the Palio, she discovers dark family secrets. A guilty shame that has hung over their name ever since the Second World War. Can Lola prove herself against the toughest of riders? Can she heal the heartbreak that has haunted her family all these years? Bye for now.
