Welcome to nowhere is an amazing non fiction book. It highlights awareness of civil war and things happening around the world most especially Syria. My favourite character is Musa as he's very smart boy with good sense of humour. I would highly recommend this book for each and everyone to read because I thoroughly enjoyed reading every word of it.

I really like this book. The twist in the end is shocking but I think the author could have added more to the ending.

It made me think that real people do that and it's true. It was fiction, made up people but factual, true events. I would recommend it to someone who enjoys traveling in that sort of area.

This book communicated life as a refugee very well. My favourite character was Eman. I would recommend it if you liked A House Without Walls and The Crossing.

I really loved the book. It’s really taught me that in different countries some people like have to suffer a lot, in things like wars. It made me feel sorry for them and I want to make the world a better place.

This book is amazing! It’s one of my favourite books that I have ever read. This is a fiction book but it is based off the war in Syria so people have lives very much like the ones in the book. I would definitely recommend it to a mature reader, as it's quite sad but very interesting.

Fabulous characters who interact as a family in a completely realistic way. The stages of the journey give a picture of the whole flight so, in many respects, I preferred this to ‘Boy 87’ which my class enjoyed listening to last year. This likewise, ends in a hopeful way as they prepare to fly to the UK up with tinges of sadness as they remember those lost on the way.

Welcome To Nowhere is a fantastic story about a 12 year old boy and his family. They lived peacefully in the city of Bosra, Syria but soon bombs start falling and they have no choice but to leave their beloved home. However, they can't seem to be able to get away from the bombing. Omar is the main character and he is probably my favorite.
