Thirteen-year-old Martin and his younger brother Charlie are on a very special journey. They’re going to be travelling 421 miles all the way from Preston to the very tip of Cornwall. They’re hoping to catch a glimpse of the dolphin that regularly visits the harbour there. But is that the only reason they are going?

It’s a journey that’s full of challenges and surprises. Martin adores his brother Charlie but he’s not like ordinary kids. He’s one in a million. He was born far too early, and ought to have died. And cheeky, irrepressible, utterly unique Charlie is always keeping Martin on his toes – especially on this crazy trip they are now on. Martin is doing his best to be a good big brother, but it’s hard when there’s something so huge coming once they get to Cornwall …

This book is sad but the was lots of funny stuff inside this book. They both went on a special journey. I would recommend it to everybody because this book is for everybody to read and it's a chapter book so people who like reading interesting and big books read this.

It was a great book about two boys' adventure to somewhere they love. I was very shocked by the plot twist at the end but I can see how it enhances the story. My favourite character was Angry girl/Hen, she overcomes her aggression in order to look after the boys. I would recommend to those who like books that can make you laugh and cry in an instant.

I like the style of this book and the way it is written like a diary. I think it has a nice setting in Cornwall and describes the landscapes spectaculy

This book was quite sad because Charlie was dead, but as the reader you didn't realise this initially. It was fiction, Martin was my favourite person. I would probably not recommend it to someone because of how sad it was however they liked upsetting things I would recommend it.

I thought this book was really interesting. Charlie seemed a funny character who loved dolphins. The ending was really sad to hear that Charlie had died but his Brother Martin really make a journey to take Charlies ashes to a place he loved the most.

This is a moving book full of wit and humour. At the beginning of the book, i wasn't sure whether it was a good book but by the end i was crying and laughing at the same time. I love the variety of characters from serious and and down-to-earth Martin to his bubbly, silly and very amusing brother Charlie. This book will warm your heart.
