This book was a very enjoyable read, perfect with a hot chocolate! I have rated this book 5/5 because the language that Terry Pratchett used was witty but funny. This book contains short stories such as 'The Blackberry Pie', 'The Weatherchick' and 'The Abominable Snow Baby' that has been made into a short animation usually around Christmas. I would recommend this book for readers that are 10+ and love Saint Nick!

This has lots of mini stories which are all of different things so you get to experience lot of different feelings like excitement, boredom and happiness.

some of the stories were very funny. I especially liked the one about father Christmas when he was sent to do gardening in summer but he had spelt Merry Christmas with flowers! this book has more than one story witch surprised me because the blurb says :Turkey and carols are starting to feel a bit samey... I really don't understand that.

I liked some stories more than others. These fictional tales contained the subtle humor of Terry Pratchett whilst alluding to Christmas songs and short stories that we have come to love over the years. A festive treat, especially for those who like to dip in and out of books.

In this book there are eleven short stories. My favourite character is Father Christmas (from Father Christmas Goes To Work At The Zoo), because he's very funny and fails at all his new jobs! I would recommend this book to people who enjoy reading hilarious short stories.

The chapter a very short ice age it was funny when the person whatched the weather it said it was going to be an ice age but when his friend said come and look at this it was green an flowers were growing on the patch and they called it the very short ice age.
