Ask Oscar
Alan MacDonald, Sarah Horne
A brilliantly funny new series from Dirty Bertie author, Alan MacDonald, featuring a pig on a bike, a Poopomatic, and a talking dog! Meet Oscar. He’s no ordinary dog . . . Sam has wanted a dog for AGES, so when Oscar turns up on this doorstep he can’t believe his luck. And when he finds out that Oscar's secret he can’t believe his ears! Reviews

This story was a very funny story. When a dog turns up at boys front step, he is surprised to find out that Oscar the dog can speak with humans. I would recommend it to animal lovers.

I loved Ask Oskar because the Queen... well more like HER MAJESTY came and brought her Corgis with her BUT to her surprise Mr Trusscot had made that exact place they're in now a dog free zone when she WAS coming!

I liked it because the dog arrived on a bus which I thought was very silly and he had to get shut up in a cupboard because otherwise their parents would find out. I would recommend it to someone who has a pet dog.

I like it but I think it needs alit more detail and I think that Sam should act more surprised to the fact that there’s a dog on his doorstep because I would be so shocked that there’s a dog on my doorstep.

I thought it was a really good book. It’s a fiction book about a talking dog. My favourite bit was when all the army of dogs were marching through town, it was really funny. Oscar was my favourite character.

Great book. It was funny and I liked the fact that only Sam knew that Oscar could talk. I would recommend it to people who like dogs or comedy stories.

So Oscar is being kicked out of the house so Sam has to persuade them not to

A nice book about a depressed boy and a talking dog become friends to stop a idiotic Town Chief or something. 4/5.
