It was a fiction book.Evie and her two best friends went to a caravan park in Wales and went sailing.She had previously got a magical bracelet and took it to wales with her.They found a treasure map during a sailing session and decided to go to the beach on the way there they had to go down a piece of rope but the angry pirate was following them.They got stranded out at sea but made a raft to save themselves as they were on the raft the pirate came along and saved them.

I really liked this book because it has a mystery, treasure and a magical bracelet. My favourite character is Evie because she has a magical bracelet, she is friendly and kind and she has the power to move things using her mind. I would recommend it to someone else.

Introduction I liked this but there were some confusing parts in it. Main bit There was a parrot that was owned by Captain Gwen, he kept repeating Golden Sands. So straight away Evie and her friends thought it was something to do with hidden pirates treasure! So they took a boat to the Golden Sands which was on the map they were given on the port. It took ages to oar, lucky Evie had her mind-controlling bracelet so she made the boat go faster. They had arrived there when they saw a hole that Ryan thought contained the treasure of the pirates. At the end of the book they all had a family celebration together because they were united. Fiction or nonfiction It was fiction because it came from the authors mind.
