Reviews

This book is awesome! But it’s so sad to be a book away from finishing the chronicles of Narnia!

I have seen, whilst writing book reports for these Chronicals of Narnia stories, that many of them, if not all, have been rated a 4/5. I was Guenuinely astonished, as really, this series deserves a 5/5. This is the continuation of the Caspian stories, though not fully including King Caspian. Eustace, who joined the younger Pevensie children on their previous adventure, The Voyage of The Dawn Treader, returns to Narnia, along with a new-comer, Jill, a child in Eustaces school. Jill encounters Aslan, who informs her of a quest, she and Eustace must complete, and then he sends her to Narnia, where King Caspian is now a very old and respected King. They are given all the lovely facilities, Narnian people have to offer, and enjoy the attention they recieve for being outsiders. But soon they escape, to fullfill their quest. Some owls tell them the story of the lost son of King Caspian, and the dead wife. They help them, by taking them part way south, and depart. There they meet a mugglewump, who joins them on their quest, and is very helpful, later on in the story. They find that Rilian, the prince, was captured by a evil queen of some sort, and enchanted to believe that he was cursed, and was not Rilian. He was set free by the people, and they plot to escape. But how is it possible, now that evil queen of the underlands has suddenly returned?... An enchanting book, I would most definately recommend to all.

The Pevensie children don't appear in this story, but Eustace and someone new called Jill do. They reach Narnia through a forbidden door at school and they find themselves in Aslan's country which overlooks Narnia.
