I loved it but the best part was Aesirs hall, Kvasirs mead, finding out that Friggs was Mallory's mother and the whetstone.

I thought this book was amazing and magical because it was full of twists and turns and lots of violence mixed with hilarious comedy. I would recommend this to someone 9+

I loved this book because of all the tension, excitement and anxiety to lead up to the final war/battle against Loki and his army of giants and other beasts, and as the companion (Magnus, Alex, Samirah, Blitzen, Hearthstone, Mallory, Halfborn and T.J.) gets split apart and put back together, involving a lot of romance drama, different adventures and going back to places they'd rather not (especially for Mallory, Halfborn and Hearthstone) they venture out to go see the Ship of the Dead, which is made of the nails of the dead!!

It was amazing how you could grow super long nails . My favourite character was Magnus as he stood up to a very powerful man and won. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a heroic book

This book is based on Norse myths. It is very exciting, quite scary, especially Draugr, the dishonoured dead which are basically zombies. What I love about this author is when things are getting too scary he puts in a hilarious part to lighten to mood.

I liked the mix of modern and Norse mythology. Alex is my favourite character because his/her mother is Loki but she/he is his complete opposite .

Magnus travels to Jotunheim and challenges Loki to a flyting on board the ship of nails. What happens is a war. They win, and Loki is captured inside a walnut.

I found it really interesting to learn about the Norse God's and how they tried to trap Loki again after Uncle Randalf used a special sword help him escape. My favourite character is Magnus because he always tries his best even when it puts him in danger. I would really recommend this book and series to people who like history and adventure.

This book is quite funny as it has funny names. I also enjoyed this book since it was a fantasy book and they all worked together to defeat the thieves. I liked it. Yes, because it is a good, funny, fantasy book.

This was my favourite book in the Magnus Chase series. In this story, Magnus and his friends face many challenges, including acquiring Kvasir’s Mead: Magnus has to drink it in order to defeat Loki, the evil trickster god. He participates in a flyting - a battle of words – to trap Loki in a walnut. I would highly recommend this book and rate it 5 stars! I loved it and hope that Rick Riordan writes some more stories soon!
