I really love the book Katy, it is so good to read. The story is about a girl called katy and she is a brave, stronge girl who is learning to live with a disability. Her mum died when she was little and somtimes she dosen't get along with her stepmum and stepsister called Elsie. She has a little stepbrother called phil, steptwins called Dory whos a boy and Jonnie whos a girl, her step sister Elsie, sister Clover, stepmum and dad. This story is about Katy who can be a bit mischievous and she gets in a lot of trouble and one day she meets a lovely lady that has to stay in a wheelchair. One day Katy gets grounded and goes to her secret garden and she makes a rope swing but it ends very badly and she has to stay in a wheelchair and she has to learn how to deal with everything.

It was sad at some parts, and happy at the start and end. It was really sad when Katy had a terrible fall involving a high rope swing. It is even a TV series.
