So you want to go into space? WHY?! (No, really – it’s sort of a
terrible idea. We humans are perfectly designed for life on Earth.
We can walk around, breathe, drink water, eat vegetables, read
books, not get poisoned or crushed to death when we go outside -
it’s lovely right where we are.)

Not convinced? GOOD! People have been dreaming about space travel for centuries – there’s something amazing about the idea of leaving our planet behind and setting out to explore the Universe – there’s so much we still don’t know. UK and Ireland’s best-loved comedian Dara O Briain takes you on a journey from the safety of your comfiest chair to the furthest reaches of space (and beyond!)

This is a lovely book for passionate/aspirational astronauts who like facts about space and the universe. The reason for the 4 star(not 5) is due to the language skills it teaches. It is best to read this with another harder book to read e.g. a classic.

This is one of my favourite book! I really love it because it is funny and factual. When I got it I didn't think that I would like it because it is a non-fiction book but I would really recommend it even if you don't normally like reading non-fiction books.

This is probably the best book about space EVER!!! Beyond the Sky: You and the Universe is funny and is written in the second person, so you feel that you are actually there with the author. It interests me because I quite like learning about space, and especially galaxies and other planets and stars.

I thought it was a good book as it was factual and about space. I was interested in this book as the challenge theme is space. I didn’t understand it so I would recommend it to a secondary school student.
