I would give it three stars because I liked it when she had to go to lots and lots and lots of different places and she looked after the bird. I wouldn't give it more stars because it wasn't that good. It was just a fairy tale but it didn't make me laugh enough!

I really liked this book, thumbelina was so tiny and sweet, and I liked the way the animals looked after her when she was sad, the best bit was the end, when the swallow took her to a place where the people were the same as her, and she married the prince, I think someone would like this book

I liked the part when the girl came out of the flower. I did feel sad when she had to stay with people she didn't want to be with. But it was nice when she finally found her people and got married to someone she liked and wanted to be with.

This is a great book and I like it because they all come from little flowers and I find that amazing. Thumbelina is my favourite character she came from a seed and grew into a small girl, I would find that amazing. I would recommended this bool to 5 plus year olds who want a book to practise their reading
