I like this book because the Browns didn't give up to get Paddington out of Portobello Prison & the author is very descriptive

I really enjoyed reading this book! My favourite character in the book was Paddington as he was always so funny, helpful to everybody and always stayed positive too. The best bit was at the end. It was so nice that everything worked out well for Paddington and the rest of the neighbourhood in the end. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend because it was a brilliant and engaging book to read. I am going to watch the movie next! Amazing book!

My favourite character is Paddington. I think he is a good person for staying in jail when he is innocent.

I loved the humour in this book. My favourite character was Paddington because he gets up to so much mischief even when he doesn't mean to! I would definitely recommend this to others

This was a fictional book. I liked the prisoner called Phibs because most of the prisoners were naughty but he wasn't. I would recommend it too children aged 8-9 because there are some words in it like 'begrudgingly' which a bit challenging.

It was the same story as the film and we saw it in the cinema and I really liked it then I found this book and that is why I picked this book I really enjoyed this book because it was exciting.

This was a fictional story about a bear named Paddington who was wrongly accused of stealing a valuable book. I really enjoyed this story because it was funny and had a good story line so I would definitely recommend it.

Watch out Paddington! The thief has stolen the book! Have a careful look, or you you won't find the book! The cops will find you, and naughty Phoenix will not be found. None of the emergency sandwiches will help, so you have to be bound!
