I like this book because it has a good touch with it. Coraline is a fiction book about a girl named Coraline. Most people have mistaken her name for Caroline. She moved into this old house but she doesn't own all of it. She has a boring life but peculiar neighbors. One day she goes through the door... and finds a whole other exciting life but she will have to become like the others. Personally, I like scary books and adventure books and this is a mix of both. It's a really good book to me because it has weird scenarios and funny scenarios and don't forget scary scenarios. I would recommend this to ages 6+ because they do have scary images but not too scary. I would recommend this to someone who likes adventures with a twist.

Very adventurous, creepy and the author put a lot of thought in it. My favourite character was Coraline, she was very brave and determined to resure her family from the Other Mothers clutches. I would recommend this to a fan of the stop-motion film by Henry Selick.

In my opinion this book was not very good. The concept intrigued me but when I read the story it was too weird and sinister. I didn’t rate it a 1 because I understood the book and it did grip me with the scariness and abstract concept.

It was a great book, full of mystery, fantasy and a little bit of magic. It is about a girl called coraline, who finds herself in another world, with another mother and another father. But when she gets back, her real parents are gone. What does her other mother want? What should she do? It is by Neil gaiman and the version I read was illustrated by Chris ridell. I would recommend it to anyone who likes adventure, horror or mystery, or anyone who just likes a bit of weird.
