Here’s my EXCELLENT PLAN to make DogZombies the BEST band in the
WHOLE WIDE WORLD! How hard can it be? (Very.) Right now I’m going
to: 1. Write more songs. (Not about teachers.) 2. Make a SPECTACULAR
music video. (Easy.) 3. Get some sleep. (Tricky when you’re
being kept awake by LOUD NOISES.) 4. Annoy Delia. (Nothing to do
with DOGZOMBIES but always FUN.)

The Dogzombies band tried to make a music video, but it didn't go so well. Tom then volunteers to look after Mark Clump's pet hamster, Marble, which keeps him up all night squeaking on his wheel.

This was a really funny book with some great illustrations! I like how it has the main story but then a couple of short ones linking to the main one. Tom Gates, Derek Fingle and Norman Watson are in a band called Dogzombies and they are trying to think of ways to make them the best band in the whole wide world! And Tom's looking after a pet, which will be awesome! Well, he hopes so... This is a fictional book and my favourite character was Amy Porter because she is smart and quite kind. I would recommend this book to ages 7+ and to those who enjoy funny stories!

I loved the descriptions when Tom was kept awake for most of the night and his story about blob it was good but was not as exciting as the other books I have read. I think it is suitable for 7,8 and 9 years old

I loved this book because it has really funny mishaps. It is really weird when Avril freaks out just because a set of false teeth falls out of Tom's Grandpa's mouth.I love it and I think the cartoons are really odd. The best one is the letter confusion.

Not what I expected from a Tom Gates book, I have read other titles I the series and they have had many more laughs than this book. However, I still thoroughly enjoyed reading it and my favourite person is Tom who is the main character and is in the band dogzombies. One of the band's songs called dogzombies rule becomes well know throughout the school after a group of people from an old folks home make a music for the song and post it to a video sharing site. I would recommend this book to 7 - 9 year olds.
